Today was another wonderful day with the boys! Destination: Our backyard. Charles (Dad) pitched a tent and I set an outdoor Easter table. I was so delighted to use the decorations I purchased during the after-Easter sales last year.
We grilled lamb ribs, broccoli spears, and hot dogs (for the kids). I made a carrot juice drink with orange Kool-aid and carrot-mango juice. I added just enough carrot-mango juice to make the Kool-aid opaque. The boys loved it! For dessert, we had vanilla ice cream topped with M&Ms.
At sunset, we popped some popcorn and watched the Veggietales movie, “Twas the Night Before Easter.” It was a great way to start the conversation about why we celebrate Easter
and the perfect ending to a beautiful day with family.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him
