BURGERS AND DOGS

Join us in celebrating the 4th of July weekend with some American classics …
BURGERS AND DOGS!

IMG_4518_beTo get started, prepare your grill.

For the perfect side, cut a few small potatoes, diced a half of an onion and put them together in a large bowl.  Next, season with salt and pepper.  Grab a grill pan and line it with aluminum foil.  Pour in 3 tablespoons of Canola oil.  Then, add the seasoned potatoes and onions and gently toss until lightly coated.

Place the grill pan to one side of the grill.  Toss the potato and onion mixture every 5 minutes for 20 minutes or until they are are golden brown and fork tender.

Flip after 5 minutes.  Resist the temptation to press the burger with the spatula.  This makes for a juicier burger because all of the juices remain inside.  Grill for another 5-10 minutes (depending on your preferred doneness), then remove from grill.

IMG_4461_beAdd a few hotdogs to the grill and follow the same cooking process as the burgers.
